Abstract

|
A case of primary malignant leptorneningeal melanoma in _ the posterior fossa in a .37-year-old male is presented. surgical removal of the tumor-was performed, followed by fatal termination 3 months after operation, 12 months after onset of symptoms. The apparent cause of death was recurrence of tumor.
Primary malignant leptomeningeal melanoma is a rare entity. Review of the pertinent literature and clinical symptomatology were discribed.
